Step 3 : If it is checked but downloads do not start automatically in IDM, click on Add Browser and locate your browser's executable file.

Step 4 : Then Validate and Restart your browser and try to download to see if the problem has been fixed.

How to manually integrate IDM with Chrome, Firefox and other browsers

Although there are several browsers, here we are going to show you how to integrate IDM with Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox just because almost other browsers use the core of Chrome and therefore the method for Google Chrome should work in Opera, Avast Secure, Brave Browser, UC Web, etc.

Integration of IDM Module in Mozilla Firefox

Go to the directory where IDM is installed « C:\Program Files (x86)\Internet Download Manager », drag and drop the file « idmmzcc.xpi » in the Firefox browser, then the file « idmmzcc2.xpi » and finally « idmmzcc3.xpi ».

In Firefox, you will receive a notification to install IDM Integration, click « Install » to start the installation.

Restart the browser, IDM has been successfully integrated in Firefox.

Integration of IDM Module in Google Chrome and other browsers

In Chrome, in the address bar, type this « chrome://extensions/ » and validate to open the extensions page.

Go to the directory where IDM is installed « C:\Program Files (x86)\Internet Download Manager », drag and drop the file « IDMGCExt.crx » dans le navigateur chrome.
